Little man couldn't wait.. he had to get his fingers into it!
And this is his most favorite present, from his sisters.
Look! It talks, and I can record my voice!!
LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORM TO PASS.. IT'S ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO DANCE IN THE RAIN.
Happy Birthday Vincent! (or as I would say in German: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!)
ReplyDeleteGreat, that you were out of the hospital for his birthday - he looks so happy in those pics!
I have a question for you. Do you know if a button has to be changed out in regular intervalls or only when it starts malfunctioning? My gi doc and dietician have not had a button patient before...
Take care,
Julia
Really, unless the balloon fails and it falls out, it's up to you when you want to change it. You should be checking the water level in the balloon every so often and if you find that it seems to be losing water alot you should change it before it breaks. Also, after a few months they can get discolored and kind of yucky looking just from daily use.
ReplyDeleteMost people change them out every three months, some will go a bit longer, it's all up to you and what you're comfortable with.
** It's also a good idea to check with your insurance company. They usually have a set amount of replacement buttons they will pay for each year.
Oh he looks so happy and is having so much fun. Yah for V. Glad you all had a great day.:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! That cake looks yummy! September is a busy b- day month for us too.
